SUMMARY:Steadfast - A Women's Bible Study at North Bay
DESCRIPTION:Listen up women of North Bay! \nStarting on Monday\, April 5th we will be launching a brand new Women’s Bible Study called\, Steadfast – A Devotional Bible Study of the Book of James\, by Courtney Doctor. \nThe women of North Bay that meet on Monday evenings have already explored a great overview of the entire Bible from their last two devotionals and now they want to take the group deeper and study a specific book of the Bible. This Bible Study is open to all woman of the church. It is a 8 week study and will end in line with the Summer which we have other activities planned. \nStill not convinced? \nListen to this description of the study by the publisher\, \nFaithfulness regardless of our circumstances. That’s what it means to be steadfast. But in a world where so much can undermine our faith or pull us off track\, steadfastness is often a rare and elusive trait. James longs for his readers to be steadfast. His letter meets us in our suffering and sickness\, our trials and temptations\, our wealth and poverty\, our ups and downs. He confronts our sin\, our speech\, and our pride. He encourages believers to have a more resilient and concrete faith: not just to hear the word\, but to do it. He calls us to persevere in truth in a world of lies\, to see that God’s steadfast love is ultimately the source of our steadfast faith. – Steadfast: A Devotional Bible Study of the Book of James \nIf you are interested in this Bible Study please reach out to Krista Cummings or Jen Howarth (or the church office: info@northbaychurch.org) for more information! \n\nTitle: Steadfast: A Devotional Bible Study of the Book of James \nStart Date: Monday\, April 5th \nTime Frame: 8 Weeks on long on Monday evenings \nLeaders: Krista Cumming & Jen Howarth \nLocation: North Bay Church Building \nRequired Resource: Please purchase the book at this LINK
