DESCRIPTION:Our church annual meeting is scheduled for Sunday\, May 22nd. \nThis meeting is open to all people\, everyone is encouraged to bring a dish to share during a potluck meal. \nHowever\, only current members are eligible to vote and ask questions. Be on the lookout for your membership covenant renewal form! This will get mailed out or they can also be left at church for you to pick up. \nThis meeting will take place right after the church service. It will be a time of covering various items related to the logistics of the church and the budget. But most importantly it will be a time of celebration about what God has done\, and looking forward to what God could do in future! During this meeting\, members will also get the chance to hear the testimony of two near elder candidates and then vote on their installment. DESCRIPTION:Trunk or Treat 2022!\nThis Fall at North Bay Community Church\, on Sunday October 30th from 2:00 – 5:00pm we will be having a repeat from last year of our Trunk or Treat! \nInterested!!?? Here’s what you need to know. \n\nWhat should I expect? FUN!! This is your chance to be part of  turning a day known for mischief into day known for miracles!! Kids of all ages and families are all welcomed. This will happen in the church parking lot and there will be various vehicles and truck beds decorated with a Bible story that can be easily understood by adults\, teens\, and young children. Different treats and snacks will be handed out. Each “trunk” will be a bit different\, but a typical handout could include candy\, a cookie\, stickers\, coloring sheets\, tattoos\, etc. There will also be warm drinks provided\, face painting and more!\nWho is allowed to come? ANYONE! This event is open to anyone in the community. Invite your friend. Invite your neighbor. Invite your second cousin twice removed! In other words\, invite anyone! So mark your calendar\, invite a friend and plan to come!\n\nInterested in Decorating Your Car?\nTrunk or Treats happen all over the Nation around Halloween. What is different about this Trunk or Treat is that each trunk will have a Biblical theme or story woven into the decorations. Here are some examples! \n \n  \nIf you are part of North Bay Community Church and you would like to decorate the trunk of your car or truck\, then here is what you need to know. \n\nWill there be treats & activities? Please include the Bible verses of where to find the story\, and use only store bought pre-packaged food.\nDo I have to dress in character? No\, but please feel free to do that!\nHow will I know someone won’t have the same Bible story as me? The contact lead will have a list of all themes/stories to make sure there are not any duplicate trunks.\nCan I team up with other people? Yes! Please make sure to tell the contact lead who is on your trunk team.\nCan I play music? Yes! We will have music playing at the cider and popcorn stand and at the face painting stand as well.\nWhat about bringing my pets? Sorry! For the health and safety of others please leave your furry (and scaly!) buddies at home.\nWhat do I do if there is conflict/disrespect during the event? Pray and give them God’s grace!! Then please find the contact lead to help the guest vacate the event.\nWhat if someone gets hurt or sick? The contact lead will have a first aid kit\, masks\, hand sanitizer and wipes available. Please use common sense and make sure your trunk is SAFE and sanitary!\nDoes my trunk need to be approved before I set it up? No.\nOkay… I think I got it. But how do I decorate a trunk?!? Great question! It’s time to get your creative juices flowing. DESCRIPTION:All current members at North Bay Community Church are invited to join us for a congregational meeting. The meeting is scheduled for Sunday\, January 29th\, shortly after the church service. \nThis is not our annual church meeting that we have in May\, but instead is a one-off meeting we need to have in order to make some strategic and exciting steps as a church! \nThe main purpose for our meeting will be to approve an increase in our spending that would allow us to be debt free as a church by June 1st! We have witnessed God’s immense generosity to us as a church through the faithful giving of His people. By God’s grace\, our giving has consistently outpaced our budgeted expenses\, and now we are in a position to pay off our debt by the summer\, but we need congregational approval to move forward with that decision. \nWe will also “formalize” Brittneys’s new role are a part-time communication assistant at the church. In the early 2000’s he organized and coached a chess club\nat Lakeview Christian Academy in Duluth that grew into a competitive interscholastic chess team\n(elementary grade students through high school). Bob holds a Bachelor of Science degree from\nCornell University and a Master of Science in Education (Instruction emphasis) from UW – Superior.

DESCRIPTION:A Messianic Passover Seder is a historical\, cultural\, and spiritual panorama of the Biblical feast of Passover. Historical because we learn the background of the first Passover. Cultural in that it gives us a window into how the Jewish people celebrate\, even today. And a spiritual application of how Jesus Christ\, our Messiah fulfills the Feast of the Passover Lamb. The New Testament calls Christ our Passover Lamb. SUMMARY:District Blitz 2023
DESCRIPTION:The District Blitz is from April 28-30th at the DECC in Duluth. The cost per student is $65. There will also be a lock in at North Bay\, meaning the kids will stay there from Friday night to Sunday morning\, when not at the conference. The purpose of the District Blitz is to provide a conference for middle school to high schoolers\, that challenges students to love God\, love one another\, and love the lost. There will be worship\, workshops\, prayer rallies\, and time for groups to build or deepen relationships. We ask that students sign up by April 8th so we can prepare adequately.
