This is a unique service that is designed to make us slow down and contemplate the death of Christ. Childcare will be offered for any families that attend in-person. \nAnyone who would like to attend should plan to do the following \n\nDress in dark clothes\nPrepare your heart for contemplation\nPlan to leave the service in silence\n\nThe solemnity of our Good Friday service is a special time in the life of the church. This is a unique service where we celebrate with joy the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the new life that He offers! \nChildcare will be offered\, and please make sure to follow all normal COVID protocols. \nPlan to bring a dessert to share and stick around afterwards for an Easter Sunday Dessert Social! We will provide the coffee\, you provide the dessert! \nNote\, this is a minor change from what we communicated earlier. SUMMARY:Steadfast - A Women's Bible Study at North Bay
DESCRIPTION:Listen up women of North Bay! \nStarting on Monday\, April 5th we will be launching a brand new Women’s Bible Study called\, Steadfast – A Devotional Bible Study of the Book of James\, by Courtney Doctor. \nThe women of North Bay that meet on Monday evenings have already explored a great overview of the entire Bible from their last two devotionals and now they want to take the group deeper and study a specific book of the Bible. This Bible Study is open to all woman of the church. It is a 8 week study and will end in line with the Summer which we have other activities planned. \nStill not convinced? \nListen to this description of the study by the publisher\, \nFaithfulness regardless of our circumstances. That’s what it means to be steadfast. But in a world where so much can undermine our faith or pull us off track\, steadfastness is often a rare and elusive trait. James longs for his readers to be steadfast. His letter meets us in our suffering and sickness\, our trials and temptations\, our wealth and poverty\, our ups and downs. He confronts our sin\, our speech\, and our pride. He encourages believers to have a more resilient and concrete faith: not just to hear the word\, but to do it. DESCRIPTION:Listen up North Bay Youth! \nRight after Church on Sunday\, April 25th we will be having a Youth Group Service Day at Troy & Heidi Schiefelbein’s farm located about 15min East of the church at 4690 S Rockmont Rd\, South Range WI. \nThis will be a great opportunity to get outside and serve one of our families at church by helping clean up leaves and sticks on their farm. The church youth leaders have enough vehicles to transport all interested youth out to the Schiefelbein’s farm and bring back the ones who would need rides back.
