SUMMARY:Child Dedication Service
DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, May 9th in celebration of Mother’s Day we will also be putting on a special Child Dedication Service at North Bay! \nAt North Bay we believe in the biblical doctrine of believer’s baptism\, however we strongly believe in the importance of passing on a legacy of faith to the next generation. In God’s design\, parents and the church play an indispensable role in raising children in the faith. \nA child dedication service is designed for parents to publicly state their commitment to raise their children in a knowledge of the Lord. While the church also publicly states its commitment to help parents raise their children to serve the Lord. \nParent’s interested in having their child dedicated should know the following: \n\nParents will need to provide the following information:\n\nA “life verse” for their child\nFull name & Date of Birth\nA picture of the child(ren)\n\n\nParents will receive a dedication certificate after the service.\nParents interested in having their child dedicated must contact the church office (info@northbaychurch.org) no later than May 3rd.\n\nPhoto Credit: Matt Walsh @two_trees – LINK

SUMMARY:Church Softball League
DESCRIPTION:We would love to have you join us this Spring for Church softball! The cost is $20\, we meet every Tuesday at 5pm for practice and then at 6pm for games. \nThe main church volunteer on this is Sarah Hamil\, please reach out to her at shargo44@gmail.com or by her phone 218-626-7190. Please know\, there is also on the Church Softball Facebook Group. \nThe first game of the season is on May 18th. Pre-season practice is on May 16th from 3-5pm. Location TBD. DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, May 23rd we will be having our Annual Church Meeting right after church. This is a family time together\, where the church gathers and celebrates what God has been doing in our midst! \nHere are the logistics of the meeting that you will want to make note of: \n\nDate: Sunday\, May 23rd\nTime: Right after the church service ends\nFood: Potluck style lunch (please bring a dish to share)\nRequirements:\n\nOnly current members are allowed to vote during the meeting\, but all regular attenders at North Bay are welcomed to come.\nPlease remember\, that if you are feeling sick you are required to stay home.\nIf you are a member\, and do not feel comfortable attending in-person\, please contact the church office (info@northbaychurch.org) no later than Sunday\, May 16th so that we can arrange accommodations for you to watch online and vote during the meeting.\n\n\nItems Covered in Meeting:\n\nCelebrate the grace of God towards our church\nExplanation of church finances and proposed budget\nVote on church budget for our new fiscal year (June 2021 – May 2022)\nVote on possible new elder candidate(s) put forward by current elders\nLook forward to what God wants to do in the future in our Church\n\n\nAction Steps: Be on the look out for a Membership Renewal Covenant in the mail (or available for pick-up at the church office).
