DESCRIPTION:On Mother’s Day Sunday\, we are offering child dedications for any interested parent with a child! \nParents will publicly profess their intent to raise their child in the knowledge of the Lord and the church likewise will profess their desire to pray and help raise each child in the truth of God’s word. \nEach child will receive a certificate of dedication. SUMMARY:Church Congregational Meeting
DESCRIPTION:All current members at North Bay Community Church are invited to join us for a congregational meeting. The meeting is scheduled for Sunday\, January 29th\, shortly after the church service. \nThis is not our annual church meeting that we have in May\, but instead is a one-off meeting we need to have in order to make some strategic and exciting steps as a church! \nThe main purpose for our meeting will be to approve an increase in our spending that would allow us to be debt free as a church by June 1st! We have witnessed God’s immense generosity to us as a church through the faithful giving of His people. By God’s grace\, our giving has consistently outpaced our budgeted expenses\, and now we are in a position to pay off our debt by the summer\, but we need congregational approval to move forward with that decision. \nWe will also “formalize” Brittneys’s new role are a part-time communication assistant at the church. Brittney has been doing a great job in her new role\, but our church constitution requires that all paid staff be approved by a congregational vote. \nWe hope that if you are a current member at North Bay you are able to attend! \nIf you have any question please reach out to Pastor Darin (darin@northbaychurch.org). \n

DESCRIPTION:Our church annual meeting is scheduled for Sunday\, May 22nd. \nThis meeting is open to all people\, everyone is encouraged to bring a dish to share during a potluck meal. \nHowever\, only current members are eligible to vote and ask questions. Be on the lookout for your membership covenant renewal form! This will get mailed out or they can also be left at church for you to pick up. \nThis meeting will take place right after the church service. It will be a time of covering various items related to the logistics of the church and the budget. But most importantly it will be a time of celebration about what God has done\, and looking forward to what God could do in future! During this meeting\, members will also get the chance to hear the testimony of two near elder candidates and then vote on their installment. DESCRIPTION:Listen up women of North Bay! \nStarting on Monday\, April 5th we will be launching a brand new Women’s Bible Study called\, Steadfast – A Devotional Bible Study of the Book of James\, by Courtney Doctor. \nThe women of North Bay that meet on Monday evenings have already explored a great overview of the entire Bible from their last two devotionals and now they want to take the group deeper and study a specific book of the Bible. This Bible Study is open to all woman of the church. It is a 8 week study and will end in line with the Summer which we have other activities planned. \nStill not convinced? \nListen to this description of the study by the publisher\, \nFaithfulness regardless of our circumstances. That’s what it means to be steadfast. But in a world where so much can undermine our faith or pull us off track\, steadfastness is often a rare and elusive trait. DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, March 28th right after Church\, Pastor Darin will be hosting a membership class in the church cafe. \nThis class is available to anyone and it will cover the basics of North Bay’s doctrine\, distinctives\, denomination and church history. Anyone interested in becoming a member at North Bay must first attend this class\, and then schedule membership interview with at-least one Church elder. This class is also a good way to get to know more about North Bay\, so even if you do not want to become a member at this time\, you are still welcomed to attend. \nA pizza lunch will be served for all in attendance.
