DESCRIPTION:Have you ever been interested in learning an instrument? What about singing? The piano? Guitar? Drums!? What about music technology!? \nIf you answered yes to any of those questions then the North Bay School of Worship & Music is for you! At North Bay Community Church we have some very talented musicians who would love the chance to give you free lessons in guitar\, bass\, drums\, keys or the soundboard. This is open to both kids and adults! It is never too soon or too late to learn a new skill! \nThis is happening every Saturday morning\, from 9:00am – 11:30am. Every year North Bay puts on a special service during the evening on Christmas Eve. This is a great time to bring the whole family\, invite friends and neighbors. This time together involves a variety of elements including a message from God’s Word\, various Bible readings\, worship songs dramatization of the Christmas story and so much more! \nWe will also be having a fellowship time before & afterwards involving cookies and refreshment! DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, May 9th in celebration of Mother’s Day we will also be putting on a special Child Dedication Service at North Bay! \nAt North Bay we believe in the biblical doctrine of believer’s baptism\, however we strongly believe in the importance of passing on a legacy of faith to the next generation. In God’s design\, parents and the church play an indispensable role in raising children in the faith. \nA child dedication service is designed for parents to publicly state their commitment to raise their children in a knowledge of the Lord. DESCRIPTION:Listen up women of North Bay! \nStarting on Monday\, April 5th we will be launching a brand new Women’s Bible Study called\, Steadfast – A Devotional Bible Study of the Book of James\, by Courtney Doctor. \nThe women of North Bay that meet on Monday evenings have already explored a great overview of the entire Bible from their last two devotionals and now they want to take the group deeper and study a specific book of the Bible. This Bible Study is open to all woman of the church. It is a 8 week study and will end in line with the Summer which we have other activities planned. \nStill not convinced? \nListen to this description of the study by the publisher\, \nFaithfulness regardless of our circumstances. That’s what it means to be steadfast. But in a world where so much can undermine our faith or pull us off track\, steadfastness is often a rare and elusive trait. James longs for his readers to be steadfast. His letter meets us in our suffering and sickness\, our trials and temptations\, our wealth and poverty\, our ups and downs. He confronts our sin\, our speech\, and our pride. He encourages believers to have a more resilient and concrete faith: not just to hear the word\, but to do it. DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, March 28th right after Church\, Pastor Darin will be hosting a membership class in the church cafe. \nThis class is available to anyone and it will cover the basics of North Bay’s doctrine\, distinctives\, denomination and church history. Anyone interested in becoming a member at North Bay must first attend this class\, and then schedule membership interview with at-least one Church elder. This class is also a good way to get to know more about North Bay\, so even if you do not want to become a member at this time\, you are still welcomed to attend. \nA pizza lunch will be served for all in attendance.
