SUMMARY:Steadfast - A Women's Bible Study at North Bay
DESCRIPTION:Listen up women of North Bay! \nStarting on Monday\, April 5th we will be launching a brand new Women’s Bible Study called\, Steadfast – A Devotional Bible Study of the Book of James\, by Courtney Doctor. \nThe women of North Bay that meet on Monday evenings have already explored a great overview of the entire Bible from their last two devotionals and now they want to take the group deeper and study a specific book of the Bible. This Bible Study is open to all woman of the church. It is a 8 week study and will end in line with the Summer which we have other activities planned. \nStill not convinced? \nListen to this description of the study by the publisher\, \nFaithfulness regardless of our circumstances. That’s what it means to be steadfast. But in a world where so much can undermine our faith or pull us off track\, steadfastness is often a rare and elusive trait. James longs for his readers to be steadfast. His letter meets us in our suffering and sickness\, our trials and temptations\, our wealth and poverty\, our ups and downs. He confronts our sin\, our speech\, and our pride. He encourages believers to have a more resilient and concrete faith: not just to hear the word\, but to do it. This is a unique service where we celebrate with joy the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the new life that He offers! \nChildcare will be offered\, and please make sure to follow all normal COVID protocols. \nPlan to bring a dessert to share and stick around afterwards for an Easter Sunday Dessert Social! We will provide the coffee\, you provide the dessert! \nNote\, this is a minor change from what we communicated earlier. DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, March 28th right after Church\, Pastor Darin will be hosting a membership class in the church cafe. \nThis class is available to anyone and it will cover the basics of North Bay’s doctrine\, distinctives\, denomination and church history. Anyone interested in becoming a member at North Bay must first attend this class\, and then schedule membership interview with at-least one Church elder. This class is also a good way to get to know more about North Bay\, so even if you do not want to become a member at this time\, you are still welcomed to attend. \nA pizza lunch will be served for all in attendance.
