Elder Team & Staff

Tom FRANCYZK
Elder
Karen and I have been at North Bay for the past eight years, settling in after a lifelong spiritual journey, raising four children and seeing God bless us with ten grandchildren! We both came to faith in Jesus through the Catholic Charismatic movement over 45 years ago. Our North Bay family is definitely a part of our own family, often filling the void of having our own children far away. Our small group is a place to ponder the majesty of God together, discuss the deep longings of the heart, and apply our faith and God’s word to this present day. We enjoy opening up our old farm homestead to those pursuing God. You may be required to indulge in Karen’s baking, and put up with our yellow lab puppy, Maisie!

Tonja & I have been attending North Bay for about 4 years; we really love being a part of the North Bay family. We’ve been blessed with four children, & being involved in the local church has always been important to us in our 33 years of marriage. We met at an art & design school in Milwaukee, and continue to use our hands-on creative talents at church, & in the home/studio we designed & built in Oulu. I gladly gave my life to Christ while reading a Bible in my college apartment, & God’s word continues to be the inspiration of our growing in the knowledge of Him. The more we know Him, the more joy we have in sharing our journey of faith with His people of the church.

RICH THOMAS

My wife Ann and I have been at North Bay for over 11 years. We have been married for 16 years and have three beautiful daughters. North Bay was where my real spiritual journey started after attending and being invited to a men’s group. My wife also became involved in a women’s group. Small groups are where my wife and I thrive by digging into God’s word to teach and make disciples. The community around us lifts each other up and I pray brings glory to God with the love we have for Him and one another. We love to open our home to anyone that wants to talk, enjoy coffee and even play a few games.
Mary Willie
Office Administrator
I have been a part of North Bay Community Church since the beginning when it was a small Bible Study meeting at a local community center. My husband and I raised both of our daughters at North Bay. Besides working in the office since 2002, I also work at a local convenience store and have the privilege of helping care for my elderly parents. I enjoy reading mystery/suspense books, my mini zoo of pets at our house, and doing all sorts of crafts. God has been working with me on patience for things I cannot control and trying to make time for myself during my busy week.

BRITTNEY KOSCHAK
Communication Assistant
My husband Alex and I started attending North Bay a few months after we got married in 2020. I am a music lover, iced coffee consumer, and mama to our wonderful little boy, Milligan! You might see me greeting you at the door on a Sunday morning or on stage with my guitar during worship. God has blessed me greatly through the community I’ve found here, especially through our weekly small group. I’m thankful to get the opportunity to serve this church in so many ways! Ephesians 2:8-10!
